About The Position

Highly responsible professional work in the administration and oversight of multiple grant projects related to the reduction of domestic violence and sexual assault in the community. Work includes the oversight of operations, programs, public relations, and coalition building for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program. Incumbents in this position will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and supporting a comprehensive quality management system for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault initiatives. Work includes coordinating community response to domestic violence and sexual assault; and related work as required.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) years of professional managerial experience in public health program management.
  • At least one year of this experience must have been in the area of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage the public along all demographics.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
  • Frequent public speaking.
  • Must provide original documents of qualifying credentials prior to start date.
  • Professional managerial experience is paid experience gained after the receipt of a Bachelor's Degree in a position that required a Bachelor's degree upon entrance.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a current driver's license for identification during examination phases.
  • Good moral character.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree in Public Health, a social science, criminal justice or a Juris Doctorate may substitute for one (1) year of the general public health program management experience.
