The Office of Reimbursement, Coordinated Care and Audit is seeking a candidate with program management and quality assurance to join their team as a Health Program Manager II. The Health Program Manager develops, manages, and coordinates the existing long term care quality incentive programs, moratorium and bed transfer issues, contractual compliance, and the Upper Payment Limit quality improvement program for nursing facilities. The manager is responsible for reviewing, maintaining and updating the Utah State Plan, and Utah Administrative Rules for assigned programs; plans and allocates resources to ensure Department’s policies and state/federal statues are fully compliant and consistent; provides expert consultation services to public and private health care providers; manages assigned programs as directed and collaborates with other state and county agencies, programs, providers and community-based organizations. This position may currently be a hybrid of both in-office and remote work days. Please note, a position's eligibility for remote work is established by agency management and is subject to change at their discretion, at any time, and for any reason. Effective July 1, 2021, State of Utah Employees must either reside in Utah or be in the process of relocating to Utah within 30 days of their start date.
