The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is hiring a Health Professions Advising Officer in the Biology Department as part of the Southwest Wisconsin Initiative for Future Talent in Health (SWIFT Health). Reporting to the Health Professions Program Manager, the officer provides individual and group advising to undergraduate students and alumni pursuing medicine, nursing, physician assistant studies, dentistry, physical therapy, and related health professions. The role calls for creative problem-solving and adaptability as the program develops. This is an in-person, full-time, grant-funded position scheduled primarily during normal working hours. The annual salary is $55,000. The position is eligible for benefits and paid leave, with employment contingent on grant funding expected through June 2031 and the possibility of continuation beyond that timeframe if funding is available.
