About The Position

The Compliance Officer oversees all compliance activities and is responsible for the development, implementation, documentation, and oversight of McLaren Health Plan and its subsidiaries’ compliance, program integrity, and security programs. The role directs and coordinates efforts to ensure continued compliance with laws, regulations, and policies governing all lines of business. The Compliance Officer serves as Chair of the Compliance Committee and has direct access to the Market President and Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health care, or a related field, or an associate degree plus two years of related experience.
• Five years in a senior HMO/TPA leadership role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Health Maintenance Organizations/insurance functions, including marketing/sales, finance, administration, claims, business information reporting and systems, and regulatory compliance.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in business, health care, or a related field.
• Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC).
• Previous experience as a Compliance Officer.
