The Health and Nutrition Advisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of health, safety, and nutrition program services to enrolled Head Start pregnant participants, children ages birth to 5 years old and their families. These services will include ensuring compliance with child health requirement, coordinating follow-up treatment services, supporting nutrition and wellness initiatives, and leading program-wide health and safety practices, training and compliance efforts. Responsible for managing the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) sponsorship for MVAC. Responsible for establishing and maintaining a Health Services Advisory Committee. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, coworkers, and other community service providers.
