About The Position

NCSS is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to join our Health Information Management team as a Health Information Specialist. This role is part of a small team responsible for processing all medical records requests and ensuring compliance within our electronic medical record system. Responsibilities

• Working within two Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Researching medical records requests to ensure adherence with state and federal privacy regulations
• Processing appropriate documentation through our disclosure management system for secure transmission
• Performing compliance audits on records access and other similar audit-based functions
• Acting as the liaison between NCSS and primary care physicians as well as other requesting parties
