About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - North Mississippi is seeking a full-time Health Information Management (HIM) Manager in Batesville, Mississippi. The HIM Manager is responsible for facility-wide data integrity, privacy, and security. The role implements processes to ensure accurate and complete medical record documentation, works with providers to improve documentation quality, tracks audits and third-party payer and auditor denials, and ensures compliance with state and federal privacy, security, and record-completion regulations and standards. The manager also prepares and analyzes data for process improvement and utilization management for mandatory reporting, adheres to facility policies and procedures, and performs clerical duties associated with the position.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Advanced computer knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Customer-service orientation.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of HIM-related experience; preferred but not required.
Additional languages are desirable.

Responsibilities
