About The Position

This position is for an Onsite Health Educator with Evernorth Direct Health, a new business within the Cigna Corporation. The role involves providing face-to-face customer coaching and support, identifying customer health education needs through targeted health assessment activities, and collaborating with customers to establish health improvement plans, set personalized evidence-based goals, and support them in achieving those goals. The educator will empower customers to become active participants in their own health outcomes and assist them in overcoming barriers to better health. Responsibilities also include leading and supporting various health and wellness promotional activities, such as group coaching, wellness challenges, and health-related seminars. The educator may perform biometric screenings, including finger sticks, blood pressure, and body composition, and utilize these values with motivational interviewing techniques to drive improved clinical outcomes. Support for health-related site events, including open enrollment, wellness committee facilitation, flu shot events, and health fairs, is also part of the role. Requirements

Strong Clinical skills with at least 3 or more years of experience health coaching, health education and health promotion
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification
High energy level, with dynamic presentation skills is required
Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors
Passion for health improvement
Ability to work independently
Customer-centric focus
Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with the client and other matrix partners
Proven administrative abilities, with strong computer and software application skills
Bilingual English Spanish
New hires must complete a background check, drug and nicotine screen to be employed in this role
This role is patient facing & you must be fully vaccinated OR be required to undergo testing twice a week (Note, in some locations local law requires the clinician to be vaccinated with no testing option, in those locations local law takes precedent)
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload

Responsibilities
