We are currently recruiting for multiple Health Care Technician II positions that will function as a Therapeutic Support Specialist II (TSS II) at Central Regional Hospital (CRH) on the Screening and Admissions Unit (SAU). SAU coordinates the screening of all prospective patients for admission, coordinates the admission process for all patients, and complies with EMTALA guidelines. Requirements

  • Must be NA I Certified (C.N.A.)
  • Must obtain notary within one year
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to obtain CPI Applied Physical Skills (APS) and CPR within 60 days.
  • High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • As required, listing as a Nurse Aide I by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.
  • As applicable, listing as a Nurse Aide II by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • As applicable, North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
