About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct hands-on supervision for the HCT I's while working directly with residents. The Shift Supervisor provides training through modeling, observation, and feedback. Training is competency based and works with residents across all settings. The HCT II Shift Supervisor will supervise approximately 10 Health Care Technician I positions directly.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development diploma and one year of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be in good standing with the NC Health Care Personnel registry.
- Must successfully complete training through Staff Development, including CPI, CPR, Body Mechanics and lifting.
- Frequent bending and lifting required.
- Documented experience in providing daily living activities and carrying out goal programs such as personal care in areas such as bathing, dressing, tooth brushing, feeding, changing attends on adults, communication and behavior modification.
