About The Position
The Developmental Supervisor I role at Caswell Developmental Center involves providing direct supervision of the daily operations of a home and offering guidance and support to Developmental Technicians. The goal is to ensure adequate care, quality habilitative programming, and services for individuals residing in the home. This position is also responsible for performance management, staff training, scheduling, ensuring safety and sanitation, and maintaining compliance with all governing standards, guidelines, and policies. Additionally, the role includes monitoring data within the Electronic Health Record and providing divisional coverage as assigned to ensure operational continuity, leadership support, and compliance across various departments or units.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development Diploma and three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
- Must be in good standing with the Health Care Personnel Registry and other licensing boards/agencies.
- Must adhere to the facility's Vaccination Policy.

- Ability to manage time of self and others productively.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision of the daily operations of the home.
- Provide assignments, guidance, and support to Developmental Technicians.
- Ensure adequate care, quality habilitative programming, and services are provided to the individuals residing within the Home.
- Responsible for performance management, staff training, staff work schedules, safety, sanitation, and compliance with governing standards, guidelines, and policies.
- Monitoring of data within the Electronic Health Record.
- Provide divisional coverage as assigned to ensure continuity of operations, leadership support, and compliance across multiple departments or units.
