About The Position

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Health & Wellness Director to lead nursing and care services across our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This is more than a clinical management role. Requirements

  • Current LVN or RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
  • 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience
  • at least 2 years in a nursing administration or management role - preferably in assisted living or long-term care
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary care team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with composure
  • Comfort with technology and electronic health record systems
  • A genuine passion for serving older adults and their families

Nice To Haves

  • A B.S. in Nursing and/or participation in geriatric professional organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all nursing and supportive services for both Assisted Living and Memory Care, ensuring every resident receives exemplary, personalized care.
  • Leading, hiring, training, and developing all nursing staff and direct care team members
  • Overseeing resident care plans from pre-admission through ongoing care - ensuring appropriate levels of care at every stage
  • Serving as the primary clinical liaison with residents, families, physicians, and outside consultants
  • Maintaining compliance with all state regulatory requirements, HIPAA standards, and company policies
  • Partnering with the Executive Director, Director of Community Relations, and the sales team to support community occupancy and resident transitions
  • Managing the nursing department budget and supplies
  • Serving as Manager on Duty on scheduled weekends and as backup Executive Director when needed
  • Utilizing electronic health records to track, document, and optimize resident care outcomes
  • Supporting family members with empathy and guidance as they navigate the journey of aging and memory loss
