About The Position

The Gardens at Quail Springs is seeking a passionate and experienced Health & Wellness Director to lead nursing and care services across their Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in Oklahoma City. This role involves setting the standard for resident care, mentoring a team, and making a difference in the lives of older adults. The ideal candidate is a licensed nurse with a heart for geriatric care, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality.

Requirements

• Current LVN or RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
• 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience
• At least 2 years in a nursing administration or management role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to guide, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary care team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities with composure
• Comfort with technology and electronic health record systems
• A genuine passion for serving older adults and their families

Nice To Haves

• A B.S. in Nursing
• Participation in geriatric professional organizations

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing and supportive services for both Assisted Living and Memory Care, ensuring exemplary, personalized care.
• Lead, hire, train, and develop all nursing staff and direct care team members.
• Oversee resident care plans from pre-admission through ongoing care, ensuring appropriate levels of care.
• Serve as the primary clinical liaison with residents, families, physicians, and outside consultants.
• Maintain compliance with all state regulatory requirements, HIPAA standards, and company policies.
• Partner with the Executive Director, Director of Community Relations, and sales team to support community occupancy and resident transitions.
• Manage the nursing department budget and supplies.
• Serve as Manager on Duty on scheduled weekends and as backup Executive Director when needed.
• Utilize electronic health records to track, document, and optimize resident care outcomes.
• Support family members with empathy and guidance.
