Requirements

Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.
Strong ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or contractors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
Ability to ensure accurate follow-through on all aspects of compliance in accordance with local and state regulations.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program from an accredited college or university.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods in various weather conditions.
Consistently practices safe work habits, including using personal protective equipment and lifting safety protocols.
Willing to comply with all organizational grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a park license.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in health and safety field preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting workplace observations and basic ergonomic assessments.
Support documentation of potential safety hazards and improvement opportunities.
Help review workplace procedures related to employee health and safety compliance.
Assist in conducting workplace evaluations to ensure safe working practices and procedures.
Assist with development and delivery of workplace wellness initiatives (e.g. ergonomic stretches, injury prevention and heat prevention measures)
Contribute to communication materials such as wellness newsletters, training handouts, or digital content.
Assist in analyzing trends related to injuries, ergonomics issues, or wellness participation.
Support literature reviews on occupational health and human performance topics.
Help coordinate wellness events, trainings, or safety campaigns.
Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and preparing summary reports.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including safety officers, HR staff, and health professionals.
