The Head Women’s Bowling Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including practice and game preparation, budget management, fundraising, scheduling, scouting, recruiting, roster management, and managing gear and equipment. This role also involves working with the home practice facility personnel and ensuring the program adheres to NCAA, USBC, and University rules and regulations, particularly regarding student-athlete eligibility, recruiting, financial aid, scheduling, and academic progress. The coach is expected to promote academic excellence, integrity, and graduation, teach fundamental skills, prepare and execute practice and game plans, and provide leadership in the personal and athletic development of student-athletes. Key duties also include directing recruiting efforts, coordinating team travel, assisting with sports information, establishing community contacts, and participating in fundraising and community service to enhance the overall student-athlete experience.
