About The Position

Planters Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Head Teller to manage all teller line activities. This role involves paying and receiving funds for deposit account transactions, issuing financial products such as Money Orders, Official Checks, and Savings Bonds, and maintaining the security and balancing of cash and other collections on a daily basis. The Head Teller will also be responsible for cross-selling the Bank's services and products and responding to customer inquiries. Additionally, this position may involve assisting in teller training, vault maintenance, and assisting with the opening and closing of the night vault. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• 6 months of cash handling and balancing money transactions within prior four years
• Communication skills in dealing with customers and employees
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Check Report
• Resume Required

• Bank experience not required but strongly preferred
