Head of Workplace Technology

MarketAxessNew York, NY
$250,000 - $300,000Hybrid

About The Position

The workplace is being redefined by generative AI, intelligent automation, and heightened expectations for seamless, secure digital experiences. Organizations that succeed will be those that treat AI-powered productivity, collaboration, and self-service as core platform capabilities—not isolated tools. MarketAxess is investing in a modern, AI-enabled workplace powered by Microsoft 365, Copilot, and automation. This role exists to own and operationalize that vision, ensuring the firm’s global employee experience is secure, scalable, and measurably more efficient while meeting the rigor required in a highly regulated environment. As Head of Workplace Technology, you will own the Microsoft 365 tenant, endpoint platforms, virtual desktop infrastructure, and global help desk, while embedding AI and automation into everyday operations. You will play a central role in translating AI capabilities into real productivity gains, faster issue resolution, and operational scale without linear increases in support effort. This role will lead all aspects of end-user computing, collaboration, and AI-powered productivity across our global workforce. This leadership role combines strategy, platform ownership, and operational execution, responsible for the full lifecycle of workplace technology—from laptops, desktops, and mobile devices to Microsoft 365, Copilot, virtual desktops, and global support services. The Head of Workplace Technology will report to the Head of Infrastructure & Cloud Enablement. This position will lead a globally distributed team supporting approximately 850+ users in a follow-the-sun model, while driving modernization, automation, governance, and a consistently high-quality digital employee experience.
