These tools directly power over 10,000+ applications, including major platforms like Medium, BuzzFeed, Facebook, Squarespace, Google, Trello, and Square. We develop tools and features for both the free Unsplash library and the premium Unsplash+ subscription product, which supports Unsplash and its contributor community. Requirements
- Ready to hit the ground running in a player-coach role.
- Comfortable leading a team and being responsible for team members' growth, development, and performance.
- Expert in front-end technologies including Node, TypeScript, React, Next.js.
- Experience building web applications at scale.
- Experience with functional programming.

Responsibilities
- Lead a small group of talented engineers building and enhancing features for unsplash.com.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Web, API, Design, Data) to understand our product, users, and priorities.
- Develop, pitch, and deliver product ideas and improvements aligned with business needs.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and high standards.
- Maintain and evolve our front-end platform, ensuring availability, performance, and optimized development.
- Support team members' growth and development, empowering them to achieve career goals and deliver exceptional work.
- Use data to drive decisions, insights, and continuous improvement.
