About The Position

HealthLeap is building an AI operating system to help care teams identify hospitalized patients who need intervention, aiming to improve health outcomes and generate revenue. The company has experienced significant growth in contracted revenue and expanded across leading health systems, now assisting care teams with millions of inpatient encounters. HealthLeap is a SF-based company with approximately 25 employees and has raised over $32 million. This role is crucial for ensuring HealthLeap's AI solutions are successfully implemented and utilized in hospitals.

Requirements

5+ years of experience leading complex, customer-facing software implementations or technical product delivery, including launches with multiple teams on the customer's side.
Exceptional project management skills, including managing concurrent work, surfacing risks early, driving decisions, and ensuring follow-through.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical analysts, clinicians, and executives.
Hands-on technical judgment, including writing SQL, reading API documentation and sample payloads, tracing data flows, and verifying delivered behavior.
Experience turning ambiguous customer needs into a first working implementation.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading implementations involving Epic, Cerner, or another EHR, or experience working within a hospital's EHR environment.
Experience delivering integrations involving HL7, FHIR, or other clinical data exchange.
Experience building an implementation process that improved the reliability of later launches.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple hospital deployments concurrently, managing plans, owners, decisions, dependencies, dates, and risks.
Collaborate with clinicians and hospital teams to understand workflows and translate ambiguous requests into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
Independently test endpoints, inspect data feeds, API responses, and SQL extracts to verify data against specifications and clinical needs.
Work with engineers to address gaps requiring product or integration changes, providing evidence and managing trade-offs.
Lead go-live readiness, resolve launch issues, verify downstream results, and support stabilization.
Develop playbooks, processes, and product requirements based on lessons learned from each hospital deployment to improve future implementations.
