About The Position

TRM Labs is seeking a Head of Talent Marketing to own and scale the company's talent brand through high-quality storytelling and distribution. This role combines content, brand, and growth marketing, focusing on transforming TRM's voice, insights, and leadership perspective into compelling narratives that attract top talent. As a high-autonomy individual contributor, you will be responsible for creating content and events, and ensuring they reach the right audiences through effective distribution. The role emphasizes setting quality standards, rapid execution, and driving measurable impact.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in content, brand, or growth marketing (ideally in high-growth or early-stage environments).
  • Proven ability to independently create high-quality content with strong narrative and voice.
  • Experience tailoring brand messaging to targeted audiences.
  • Strong growth instincts and channel experience—knows how to distribute content effectively, not just create it.
  • High ownership and velocity—able to operate with minimal oversight and ship consistently.
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and taste (can distinguish great from average content).
  • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and extracting insights quickly.
  • Experience using AI tools/agents to accelerate workflows while maintaining quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to engineering communities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end content creation, translating internal insights, policies, and happenings into campaigns that demonstrate the employer value proposition to prospective talent.
  • Drive distribution strategy across paid, social, events, and partnerships to reach priority talent segments, leveraging a centralized Demand Generation and Ops architecture.
  • Build and execute a repeatable content engine consistent with TRM’s master brand identity.
  • Rapidly turn ideas into shipped outputs—content, events, and campaigns within defined timelines.
  • Curate the right conference circuit for engineering leadership to attend, speak, and advertise at, and project manage the submission of white papers to secure speaking spots.
  • Cultivate partnerships with external engineering thought leaders and produce community meetups, including speaker panels, that position TRM as a leading voice in the space.
  • Measure and iterate on performance (engagement, reach, pipeline impact) to continuously improve results.

Benefits

  • TRM moves quickly.
  • High velocity, high ownership team.
  • Clarity, follow-through, and impact are expected.
  • Energized by hard problems, experimentation, and continuous feedback.
  • Ship fast: from idea → published content in days, not weeks.
  • Iterate quickly: review performance within 1 week and adjust.
  • Maintain a high quality bar: every piece of content reflects TRM’s voice and standard.
  • Focus on impact: prioritize efforts that drive measurable reach and talent pipeline.
  • Work that often requires operating with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • A high level of personal ownership and accountability.
  • Close collaboration across teams and functions.
  • Frequent, high-touch communication.
  • Creative problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • A pace that rewards urgency, adaptability, and outcomes.
  • Meaningful problems.
  • Ambitious goals.
  • Mission-driven colleagues.
  • Series C company with $220M in total funding.
  • Backed by Blockchain Capital, Goldman Sachs, Bessemer, Y Combinator, Thoma Bravo, and others.
  • Headquartered in San Francisco, TRM operates as a distributed-first company with hubs in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., London, and Singapore.
