Head of Strategic Finance
About The Position
CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery by transforming underutilized properties into smart kitchens. This role will act as the primary finance partner, owning forecasting, planning, and performance management. The position involves translating complex data into actionable insights to guide growth, efficiency, and capital allocation. Key responsibilities include leading budgeting, long-range planning, building financial models, evaluating initiatives, tracking performance against KPIs, and identifying variance drivers. The role also requires partnering with operations, product, and go-to-market teams to guide decisions on pricing, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or highly analytical field.
- 3-6 years in an investment-facing environment (e.g. Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Hedge Funds), with direct exposure to deploying capital or supporting investment decisions.
- 6+ years in an in-house finance role, partnering closely with operators to drive business performance.
- 10+ years of total experience.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with structured thinking and a high degree of intellectual rigor.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary finance partner to CloudKitchens, owning forecasting, planning, and performance management.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform growth, drive efficiency, and guide capital allocation.
- Lead budgeting and long-range planning, build and own best-in-class financial models, and evaluate critical initiatives across revenue, margin, and cost structure.
- Track performance against KPIs, identify the underlying drivers of variance, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of your business unit.
- Partner closely with operations, product, and go-to-market teams to guide decisions on pricing, resource allocation, and cost optimization, ensuring capital is deployed with discipline and aligned to the company's highest-impact priorities.
