About The Position

Jeeves is hiring a Head of Strategic Finance to lead its planning function and own key strategic financial initiatives, corporate forecasting and budgeting. The role serves as a trusted partner to the leadership team and reports to the President & CFO. The Head of Strategic Finance will own board and investor materials in partnership with the President & CFO and work closely with the Head of GTM - Strategic Finance. This role drives strategic recommendations through quantitative analysis and qualitative insights. It oversees company-wide planning, consolidated operating models, long-range plans, unit economics, performance reporting, segment reporting, and budget-versus-actuals processes. The position also partners with Data, Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Operations, and Risk to connect the credit book, capital efficiency, growth, liquidity, and returns in company planning. The role manages the internal systems and tooling roadmap used by Strategic Finance and the broader finance organization. The position is remote and US-based, with preference for candidates in the New York City area.

Requirements

Ideal background includes 2–4 years in banking or credit investing followed by 4–8 years in operating roles at fast-paced, high-velocity global fintechs; operating experience is essential.
Experience in a balance-sheet business such as lending, cards, or payments with facilities; pure SaaS Strategic Finance experience is not a fit.
AI-native experience, including having built agentic automation and workflows with Claude or other models or harnesses to streamline financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and other finance workflows.
Fluency in crypto and stablecoins, or the ability to develop that fluency quickly.
Personally built and run at least one full budget and planning cycle.
Experience and a strong track record of developing and mentoring a team of professionals into a high-performance team.
Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, rapidly changing, hyper-growth environments and pivot quickly as conditions change.
Comfort presenting to a board of directors or institutional investors.
Ability and desire to build rather than maintain, own processes end-to-end, and serve as a player-coach.

Responsibilities

Drive the Strategic Finance function and support the leadership team with strategic recommendations informed by quantitative analysis and qualitative takeaways.
Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance analysis, headcount planning, and product forecasting.
Design and run bottoms-up annual budgeting and headcount planning across the company.
Own the consolidated operating model and long-range plan.
Understand and promote unit economics across products and geographies, including fiat and crypto.
Synthesize company and financial performance in a monthly performance package for the Jeeves Leadership team and Board of Directors.
Establish and run a budget-versus-actuals cadence with the leadership team.
Build segment reporting that gives leadership a clear view of business performance.
Analyze financial and operational results to assess the company's financial health and performance.
Partner with the Data team to help make Jeeves a data-driven organization and provide insights to leadership.
Own high-impact board and investor materials in partnership with the President & CFO.
Manage the Strategic Finance internal systems and tooling roadmap for infrastructure used by Strategic Finance and the broader finance organization.
Partner with Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Operations, and Risk to incorporate the credit book, including facility utilization and losses, into planning and support capital-efficient scaling.
