About The Position

Manages the transportation, distribution and logistics of products necessary to meet business needs whilst maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Participates in the development of the strategies of the business and understands the need for an effective transportation and distribution function to support them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on business development and strategic projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in supply chain software’s and tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive business growth, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee warehousing strategy across the Americas, optimizing inventory levels, reducing working capital, and supporting business line (BL) demands.
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers, warehouses, and service providers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality operations.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for supply chain improvement, innovation, and expansion.
  • Lead strategic supply chain and warehousing projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance, R&D, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and support new initiatives.
  • Define and monitor supply chain performance metrics (KPIs), using data analysis to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity through proactive planning, supplier diversification, and process optimization.
