About The Position

Montessori Children's House-Mayfair, part of the Endeavor Schools Family, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of School (School Leader) to provide day-to-day leadership for a school with students ranging from Infant to Elementary Age. The Head of School will inspire positive community interactions, ensure quality care and education, and foster and develop educational environments and staff. This role involves facilitating the implementation of Montessori pedagogy in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth. The position also focuses on creating a family-focused environment that encourages the growth of the school community.

Requirements

  • Colorado Director's Certification Required
  • A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience with strong performance results.
  • Proficiency with technology and software applications including current version of MS Office.
  • May occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education is preferred. Equivalent combination of AA degree, training, and 3-5 years' experience in the field of Education will be considered.
  • Experience in Montessori education preferred, but not required.
  • Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Discusses matters with staff and leadership directly and in a professional manner.
  • Ensures that priorities are aligned with key business objectives and resources are mobilized to maximize Return on Time Invested.
  • Focuses time and energy on value-added activities.
  • Maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor even in the face of challenges and adversity.
