About The Position

Sunset Montessori School, a division of the Hearing and Speech Center of Florida's educational programs, is dedicated to Montessori Early Childhood education for ages 1.5-7 years. We are seeking passionate, experienced early childhood education teachers with Montessori certification or willingness to train immediately. The school offers a quaint environment with small ratios and beautiful grounds. We are looking for team members who are passionate about teaching, creative, loving, and nurturing.

Requirements

Experience with toddlers required.
Must be fully dedicated to this position annually.
Bilingual (English-Spanish-French language) a plus!
Montessori teacher Certification and leadership experience in Montessori school or similar setting; have understanding of Montessori education.
Montessori certification in 0-3 or 3-6 age ranges (or willing to obtain).
Experience with classroom management/early childhood.
Proven experience in developing and implementing educational programs and curriculum materials.

Native French language ability
Montessori certification or willing to train immediately
Director credential from DCF
Preferred Dept. of Education teaching certificate

Responsibilities

Classroom education and management of her group while maintaining all Montessori principles and methods.
Provide quality and child-directed education to children within small teacher/child ratios.
Monitor student progress and report to parents and school administrators/hold meetings.
Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and guidelines.
Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum materials.
