About The Position

Nemera is a global manufacturer of complex drug delivery systems for the pharmaceutical industry, with products including inhalation, injection, nasal and dermal pump, and ophthalmic delivery devices. It provides development, industrialization, manufacturing, custom development, and contract manufacturing services to pharmaceutical companies. The Head of Program Management manages and organizes the Program Management team, overseeing workload planning and coordination, project performance, and compliance with the NPI process. The role drives plant project profitability, manages project risks, supports technical quotation responses and sales presentations, and coordinates local and global program governance. It also develops team capability through hiring input, performance assessment, training, and onboarding. The position supports lean and continuous improvement initiatives and requires compliance with safety procedures, including use of required PPE.

The role works in an office and clean manufacturing environment, with some travel required. The stated compensation range is $145,000 to $165,000 USD. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of program management or project management experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams within a transversal organization.
• Experience in direct customer contact.
• Strong leadership, persuasion, and communication abilities.
• Ability to listen to customers’ expectations.
• Teamwork-oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Program management experience with industrialization projects for mass production involving plastic injection and high-speed assembly technologies is strongly preferred.
• Background in medical devices, the pharmaceutical industry, or mass-production industries such as automotive.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize the Program Management team, including planning, organizing work, and defining and monitoring workloads.
• Coordinate and monitor the Project Management team’s activities, including quotations and project management, using KPIs.
• Promote and ensure project compliance with the NPI process and associated documentation requirements.
• Drive the profitability of plant projects in coordination with the finance controller.
• Identify project risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Assess the skills needed to meet company objectives; participate in defining recruitment needs, assess employee performance, prepare training plans, and manage onboarding and training of new hires.
• Manage technical responses to plant Requests for Quotation and support Sales in presenting proposal content, including technology plans, layouts, timelines, project governance, and industrial risk assessments.
• Organize the local Program Steering Committee and coordinate input for global program tracking.
• Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety procedures, including using Personal Protective Equipment as required.
