Head of Production - Roofing

People MVR•Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

The Head of Production is a senior leadership role responsible for the full roofing production operation, from sales handoff through installation, quality control, and project completion. The role will build an organized, predictable, profitable operation capable of supporting substantially higher volume while protecting workmanship, customer experience, and speed. The position leads and develops production managers, supervisors, field leaders, roofing crews, and subcontractor partners. It establishes clear priorities, ownership, performance expectations, workflows, SOPs, KPIs, and accountability structures. The role also improves forecasting, scheduling, crew capacity, job readiness, material coordination, installation, inspections, and closeout processes. This leader works closely with senior leadership to improve operational performance, profitability, capacity, and readiness for growth. The position requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on understanding of field operations, developing leaders who can make decisions independently, and creating systems that reduce reliance on the owner or a small number of key employees. The search is confidential; company and opportunity details will be shared with qualified candidates.
