About The Position

S&P Software Solutions is currently seeking a seasoned, progressive, and innovative Head of Product to oversee key strategic product development initiatives that will significantly differentiate S&P’s value proposition in Private Markets. This role will be focused on aligning product strategy and delivery for S&P’s private markets software product offerings by working with key partners across Product Management, Engineering, Commercial Strategy, Sales, and Client Management to define, manage, and execute on our product vision to create a world-class platform with natively integrated software, data, and services. Key initiatives include: Private Credit Investment Platform: Deliver a premier private credit investment platform for the industry that natively integrates data, software, and managed services. Build, modernize, extend, and integrate functionality and private credit workflows Private Investible Universe: Build the leading platform to facilitate high-value interactions between Private Companies and Private Market Investors by reducing key friction points through industry-standard utilities such as identifiers, performance metrics, reference data, benchmarks, peer comps, managed data services, fund-level performance data to power demand for our software solutions, and valuation services.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior product manager from a market-leading enterprise software vendor
• Track record of building highly scalable enterprise software products for financial markets participants
• Experience leading high-performing global teams, including the ability to foster collaboration, facilitate teamwork, and influence internal stakeholders outside of your reporting lines
• Adept at building and maintaining trusted and credible relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
• Engaging and credible presence, particularly at executive levels
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills
• Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product story and roadmap for key strategic private markets product initiatives within S&P Global Software Solutions
• Be a private markets expert by staying attuned and ahead of the industry and technology trends to connect the dots on opportunities for S&P’s product offerings to better serve our clients
• Ensure that product roadmaps within vertical products are consistent with portfolio-level strategic goals and commercial outcomes
• Supervise and contribute to the delivery high quality product definition artifacts (i.e. product briefs, user stories, journey maps, etc.) that enable the delivery of high quality products at a very high velocity
• Lead a high-performing team of product managers and collaborate effectively with partners across engineering, UX design, and commercial strategy to ensure high quality and timely product delivery
