About The Position

Float is seeking a Head of Product Marketing to lead the function responsible for helping customers understand, adopt, and derive more value from Float’s growing multi-product platform throughout their entire journey. This role reports to the SVP GTM Strategy & Marketing and will oversee a team encompassing product marketing, lifecycle marketing, and customer marketing, with responsibilities covering acquisition, launch support, product adoption, and usage. This is a critical, high-impact position at the heart of the business, offering the chance to refine Float’s product narrative, enhance adoption across the customer lifecycle, and empower Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to more effectively communicate and deliver the platform’s value.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, enablement, monetization, or adjacent growth roles within B2B SaaS, fintech, or transaction-based businesses, with significant leadership experience.
  • Direct ownership of measurable outcomes such as acquisition, adoption, expansion, retention, competitive performance, enablement uptake, or other commercial metrics.
  • Strong product marketing skills in positioning, messaging, launches, enablement, and customer/field activation, with demonstrated success in changing behavior or results.
  • Experience building systems (not just campaigns) including pre-sale and post-sale motions that guided internal teams and customers on next steps.
  • Data fluency and a disciplined approach to experimentation, comfortable using analytics, research, and operating judgment to refine strategy.
  • Practical experience integrating AI workflows, with examples of using AI to accelerate research, synthesis, experimentation, or content iteration while maintaining human-led judgment.
  • Leadership and cross-functional credibility, with a proven track record of coaching teams, aligning stakeholders, and elevating the quality of work around you.

Responsibilities

  • Refine Float’s positioning and messaging to ensure the multi-product platform story is clearly communicated across target audiences and for ongoing launches.
  • Develop pre- and post-sale programs aimed at improving product adoption and helping customers realize greater value from the platform.
  • Collaborate with the Product team on launches, readiness, and activation to ensure new products and features lead to customer understanding and usage.
  • Equip Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams with messaging, playbooks, collateral, and activation tools to enhance field effectiveness and adoption outcomes.
  • Build customer programs, such as advocacy and advisory initiatives, to strengthen product adoption and the broader commercial flywheel.
  • Utilize data, experimentation, and customer insights to continuously evolve positioning, lifecycle strategy, and adoption programs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering high standards for ownership, clarity, speed, and modern AI-enabled workflows.
