About The Position

Key leadership position responsible for all product and portfolio strategy delivery to drive revenue growth and profit across the Bankcard line of business. Position will have overall responsibility for achieving the annual line of business profit plan by leading the end-to-end execution and delivery of bankcard products and capabilities across the organization. This role bridges product strategy, technology, operations, and external partners to ensure seamless, compliant, and scalable delivery of product initiatives. Develops long-term strategic growth delivery plans focusing on customers, competition, profitability, risk management, product life cycle, and service considerations. Works closely with business partners in developing enhancements, new product concepts, and bringing innovation to market. Manage staff responsible for executing the key line of business growth strategies. Evaluating and developing product delivery ecosystem modernization roadmap and building business cases to drive key capability investment decisions. This leader will oversee complex delivery programs including new product launches, platform migrations, portfolio integrations, and ongoing feature enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer experience goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 20 or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • In-depth understanding of product features, benefits, pricing, positioning, design and advertising.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have ability to effectively manage credit risk/return trade-offs to optimize profitability.
  • Requires excellent organizational skills, quantitative skills, strong interpersonal communication skills and analytic expertise.
  • Work requires experience and ability to influence and negotiate with individuals outside span of control and the associated decision making.

  • MBA or other Advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of credit card products, from concept through launch and post-implementation optimization
  • Translate product strategy into executable roadmaps, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Ensure alignment across product, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and servicing teams
  • Establish annual goals and objectives for key line of business deliverables.
  • Manage the implementation of new products and/or product enhancements and functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, internal business partners and key vendors as necessary.
  • Effectively manage cross-functional teams on complex issues related to development, implementation, and ongoing servicing.
  • Monitor industry trends and perform essential market research and analysis to define current and prospective customer needs.
  • Oversee vendor performance, SLAs, and integration delivery.
  • Coordinate across issuing platform, digital banking, rewards, fraud, and servicing systems.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product delivery team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence while providing coaching and career development for team members.
