About The Position

Juniper Square's mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets by digitizing privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to this financial ecosystem. The company offers flexible work arrangements, including fully remote or full-time in physical offices located in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai, and Bangalore, supporting collaboration across multiple countries. Juniper Square has developed a leading platform for private market fund operations and investor management, aiming to become the operating system for private markets firms. This role, Head of Product and Solutions Marketing, is crucial for building a Product Marketing Management (PMM) function focused on pipeline generation rather than just product launches. It is a revenue-driven position responsible for the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy to engage CFOs and COOs at private equity, venture, and real assets firms, guiding them from awareness to pipeline. The successful candidate will ensure Juniper Square wins evaluations by demonstrating how the platform solves real problems, building trust, and clearly articulating value against alternatives. This role involves close collaboration with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 5 years in product marketing at a leadership level.
  • A track record of building messaging and enablement programs that hold up in sales cycles with financially sophisticated buyers, understanding their evaluation criteria, skepticism, and how to earn trust with specificity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale solutions marketing programs across multiple verticals or segments, balancing a consistent platform narrative with vertical-specific messaging.
  • A genuine partnership mentality, investing in cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong writing instincts, capable of crafting positioning statements that resonate with buyers.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools and agents in a marketing context to increase efficiency with a lean team.
  • A record of building and developing teams, taking seriously the responsibility of managing people.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward ownership, finding growth in an evolving role scope.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or enterprise SaaS is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with fund operations, investor relations, or private markets workflows is a meaningful advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning and messaging across Juniper Square's full platform, including fund administration, investor relations, and reporting, ensuring differentiation is accurately reflected in all communications and sales conversations.
  • Build a solutions marketing function organized around three core verticals: private equity, venture, and real assets, developing vertical-specific narratives, proof points, and sales plays.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products and features, working with Product to shape capabilities and translate roadmap investments into business outcomes for CFOs and COOs.
  • Own the team's understanding of the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), including buyer decision-making, concerns at each funnel stage, and differences across verticals, translating this into marketing's campaign calendar, messaging framework, and assets.
  • Build and maintain a proactive enablement cadence for sales and SDRs, including a consistent calendar of talk tracks, messaging updates, and release communications.
  • Define and track metrics for product marketing effectiveness, such as pipeline contribution, win rates, sales cycle movement, content utilization, and competitive performance, using data to set priorities and justify investment.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a team of product and solutions marketers, setting a high bar for precision and clarity in their work.
  • Use AI tools and agents to increase the velocity of the PMM function across research, content production, and competitive intelligence, building workflows where AI handles initial drafts and analysis.
