As a Head of Product and Portfolio Controlling / Operations, reporting to the Head of Ultrasound Finance, you will be responsible for: Managing cost controls, budgeting and forecasting processes, financial analysis and reporting, and accounting procedures for Ultrasound’s SCM and R&D functions worldwide. You effectively execute Ultrasound’s short term and strategic financial targets, defining and implementing the financial reporting metrics for both SCM and R&D functions. You provide strategic guidance based on sound financial analysis to the Heads of both functions on key investment decisions and presents options with detailed financial implications to the leadership of the business line This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers You have responsibility for ensuring Ultrasound's competitiveness by driving product cost reductions across the entire portfolio and creating exceptional transparency of entire cost base at HQ, factories and countries You provide leadership to your direct management team and their respective teams through setting goals which aligned with company's core value drivers and manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring. You create a financial framework which allows the optimization of the ROI of strategic product development decisions and supports the most time and cost-efficient execution of projects You are responsible for functional, short- and long-term forecasts and budgets, creating exemplary transparency on risks and opportunities as well as corresponding mitigation options You ensure strict adherence to Siemens Healthineers’ financial reporting guidelines, internal controls framework and meeting all deadlines during monthly financial closing process Liaise and build strong collaboration with all internal functions and Senior Leadership Hire, develop and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback Serve as a role model for the Finance Community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture and foster the professional development of individuals

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree required – Finance, Business Administration or applicable degree
  • 10+ years of Finance/Business Administration experience
  • 5 years in a leadership role
  • 5 years in Operations Finance in a factory setting and/or legal entity setting.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant financial processes and value flows from accounting (current knowledge of local GAAP + IFRS), tax, treasury and ERP perspective.
  • Excellent business understanding capability and strong analytical skills for timely and accurate financial analysis driving prompt and effective decision making.
  • Excellent communication and reasoning skills; ability to interface with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders (customers, authorities, banks) proactively and effectively.
