Serve as a trusted business partner to the Head of Segment, driving fact-based decision-making across the full P&L and key balance sheet items, with a strong focus on value creation (margin, EBIT, ROS, and cash flow). This role involves defining, aligning, and maintaining robust sales and margin performance reporting across key business cells, analyzing performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actionable countermeasures. The position drives the execution of commercial excellence initiatives to unlock margin improvement opportunities and supports performance dialogues with Business Areas and Sector leadership. It also involves monitoring and tracking pricing initiatives, ensuring accuracy and governance of RFQ/PCIS calculations, and leading the financial evaluation of growth investments. The role oversees profitability tracking of key customer projects, supports M&A activities, and provides financial analysis for management reviews and strategic decisions. Additionally, it ensures compliance with corporate policies, supports legal entities during audits, and promotes best practices. The Head of Controlling Segment is responsible for Actual and Forecast reporting for the Segment, including sales/margin development, receivables, investments, and headcount, as well as segment-specific budget planning.
