About The Position

This role is accountable for material cost, margin delivery, working capital, supply continuity, and innovation. Procurement owns a significant portion of the P&L and plays a central role in managing supplier risk, ensuring service continuity, and delivering productivity and transformation initiatives already in flight. The role also plays a key part in the HC NA board, being involved in all discussions and decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop procurement strategy in close partnership with the Procurement Director and Home Care LATAM leadership, aligning with business priorities and market dynamics.
  • Define and implement governance frameworks to ensure transparency, agility, and compliance across sourcing processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively identifying gaps and leading corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Shape and activate the area’s medium- and long-term strategic “Big Bets” translating ambition into actionable roadmaps for value creation and resilience.
  • Partner closely with the Home Care Procurement Director to shape and execute the strategic agenda and high-impact programs across LATAM.
  • Ensure connection and coherence between the Business strategy and Procurement Lighthouse Strategy.
  • Organize and lead the Lighthouse Squads agenda and governance, ensuring the right tracking of KPIs and drumbeat to accelerate progress.
  • Ensure deep understanding per Small C to get synergies and opportunities across the region.
  • Explore external and internal insights with the portfolio sourcing teams and Lighthouse squads, communicating the insights and working with the Squads to develop and execute strategies that leverage these insights.
  • Derive value creation opportunities based on a deep Value Chain expertise, Supplier, Competitor and Industry Insights, as well as benchmarking.
