About The Position

As the Head of Paid Media, you are the architect of our advanced service offerings. You will lead the strategy and delivery across Google, Microsoft, Meta, and OTT. We are looking for a thought leader who can maintain our dominance in traditional search while aggressively integrating emerging technologies - ensuring RYNO remains the most sophisticated agency in the vertical. You will foster innovation, define best practices, and cultivate a skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Paid Media marketing within a fast-paced, high-volume marketing agency environment
  • 7+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple levels and functions
  • Deep curiosity for emerging digital marketing trends, with a demonstrated commitment to bringing new ideas and thought leadership to both clients and the agency.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation through strategic testing, experimentation, and continuous performance optimization.
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex performance data into clear, strategic recommendations for senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced expertise across major paid media platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager; experience with local service and lead-generation platforms (Angi, Yelp, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of how generative AI and LLMs are transforming digital marketing, campaign operations, and consumer search and decision-making behavior.

  • Experience in or strong understanding of the home services industry and their unique needs, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously refine the agency’s comprehensive paid media strategy and operating playbook, balancing foundational high-intent search with paid social, OTT, and emerging channels.
  • Drive strategic testing, platform expansion, and service innovation to strengthen performance and expand the agency's competitive advantage.
  • Lead the strategic adoption of AI-driven tools, including Google AI-Max and evolving LLM-driven search behaviors, identifying how generative AI changes the path to purchase.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies that improve campaign performance, targeting, and scalability across paid channels.
  • Serve as the agency’s primary thought leader on paid media innovation, translating changes across search, social, and AI ecosystems into scalable service offerings, best practices, and competitive advantage.
  • Share strategic insights that elevate internal expertise and strengthen the agency's position as an industry leader.
  • Design and scale the paid media department structure to support operational efficiency, service excellence, and long-term growth.
  • Lead team development through hiring, resource planning, coaching, and mentorship, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Evaluate, procure, and implement tools, systems, and automation that improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Oversee scalable processes for campaign management, data collection, and measurement across all paid media platforms.
  • Act as a strategic advisor for enterprise accounts, partnering with client leadership to drive retention, growth, and long-term success.
  • Support the sales team by shaping strategy and scoping complex, multi-channel opportunities for prospective clients.
  • Manage executive relationships with Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Yelp to pilot new capabilities and maintain first-to-market advantages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success, SEO, Web, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on integrated strategy and execution for our clients.
