About The Position

Dozee Health AI is seeking a Head of Operations based in Dallas, TX, to build the operational backbone that supports their field organization. This role involves creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), systems, and a team to ensure predictable device availability, movement, and uptime across all nationwide sites. The Head of Operations will manage and grow the field team, act as the execution arm for account management, and ensure devices are installed, adopted, and running smoothly. Key responsibilities include owning device uptime, managing inventory, shipping, logistics, and deployment, building operational planning and resourcing systems, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA, safety, and infection-control standards. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Clinical teams, serving as an escalation point for complex issues, and reporting operational health to leadership.

Requirements

7–10+ years in field operations, clinical operations, or medical device / healthcare technology operations.
Experience managing and scaling a distributed field team.
Experience building SOPs and operational systems from scratch.
A track record owning device or asset uptime, logistics, or inventory at scale across many sites.
Comfortable being the operational owner accountable to account management and sales for on-the-ground execution.
Willingness to travel nationwide to support the field team and visit sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in SNFs or long-term care operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and own SOPs for field operations, covering installation, training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and escalation.
Lead and scale the field team, including hiring, coaching, and managing field coordination coaches across the U.S.
Act as the execution arm of account management, ensuring devices are installed, adopted, and running well.
Own device availability, movement, and uptime nationwide, tracking inventory, shipping, logistics, deployment, and uptime metrics.
Build operational planning and resourcing systems, including scheduling, travel, and logistics planning.
Own compliance and quality in the field, ensuring adherence to HIPAA, safety, and infection-control standards.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, and Clinical teams.
Serve as the escalation point for complex issues.
Report operational health to leadership, including uptime, deployment velocity, and field team performance.
