GOLF+ is building the leading platform for off-course golf, evolving from a premier VR golf experience into a connected ecosystem spanning VR, mixed reality, and simulator golf. With over 2 million downloads and nearly 5 billion shots hit, GOLF+ is the official VR partner of the PGA TOUR and has received investment from notable figures in sports. The company is focused on expansion in 2026 with the launch of GOLF+ Putting and GOLF+ Sim, aiming to establish GOLF+ as a differentiated leader in the off-course golf market. This role is crucial for the success of these launches and for shaping the future of off-course golf.

  • A complete, well-rounded marketer who has led across brand, go-to-market, partnerships, and growth.
  • Content-first marketer with a proven ability to build trust, demand, and brand affinity through compelling storytelling.
  • Takes full ownership of outcomes, has a real appetite to lead, and is relentless from concept through execution.
  • A great communicator with experience running meetings, aligning stakeholders, and clearly conveying plans, roadmaps, and directives.
  • A player-coach, comfortable operating lean, ready to do the work yourself now and build the team deliberately.
  • Analytical and performance-literate, owning targets and understanding dashboards without making the funnel the center of gravity.
  • Fluent with AI tools as a force multiplier across research, content, and workflow.
  • Based in Austin, TX, working in person with the team.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships in golf, golf media, or the golf creator world.
  • Familiarity with how the golf industry works (OEMs, teaching pros, club fitting, launch monitors).
  • Experience launching a product into a skeptical or new-to-category audience.
  • Experience in gaming, VR, consumer tech, sports, or creator-driven platforms.
  • Brand-building at an early-stage or high-growth company.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision for the marketing organization and shape how the brand appears across all golfer touchpoints.
  • Build the marketing team, capabilities, and operating rhythm to support growth across VR, mixed reality, and simulator golf.
  • Define GOLF+'s positioning, voice, and narrative, building belief among golfers through cultural relevance, earned attention, and trust.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team, starting with the Product Marketing Manager, and build the function over the next 12-18 months.
  • Own product marketing and go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, and successful product launches.
  • Shape the strategy for leveraging creators, ambassadors, institutional partners (PGA TOUR, PGA of America, Meta), and word-of-mouth.
  • Orchestrate growth across channels and own the outcome, ensuring performance and lifecycle marketing are effective levers.
  • Track key metrics, analyze performance, and communicate learnings and future plans to leadership.
