About The Position

This role is for someone to run the marketing machine for a portfolio of eCommerce brands including ROAD iD, DOG iD, and Rack Rabbit. The company emphasizes a founder-forward approach where communication often comes directly from the founder, aiming to sound and feel like real people. The Head of Marketing will partner with the founder to build a world-class growth engine around this asset, leading the entire marketing, eComm, and creative organization. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking ('at the whiteboard') and hands-on execution ('in the arena').

Requirements

  • DTC eCommerce expertise with a strong performance marketing backbone.
  • Proven ability to scale brands through Meta advertising and creative scaling.
  • Fluent in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo, Shopify.
  • Ability to ask the right questions, identify problems, and step in when needed.
  • Strategic thinking and deep process-driven capabilities.
  • Experience building and implementing AI workflows.
  • Hunger, energy, and a desire to make decisions that impact numbers.
  • Voracious learner of DTC trends, podcasts, and industry insights.
  • Coaching ability with a focus on developing people.
  • Ability to move fast and ship strategy into action.
  • Experience managing the entire marketing machine, not just specific pieces.
  • Scrappiness and ability to operate without extensive support teams.
  • Understanding and willingness to work within existing systems (EOS, processes, promo rhythms) before evolving them.
  • Bias for action and quick decision-making.

  • Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and L10 meetings.
  • Experience with a 'Creative Supply Chain' concept.
  • Experience with a 'Founders Fodder' style of communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, Manage, and hold Accountable the marketing, eComm, and creative teams (EOS/L10 framework).
  • Develop brand-level growth strategy, making trunk-level decisions and ensuring the right teams are in place.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget across all three brands, identifying profitable ad spend and forecasting spend and revenue projections.
  • Manage and hold accountable external agencies and vendors.
  • Act as a sounding board and coach for team leaders, focusing on developing their skills.
  • Lead special projects, including exploring new channels, tests, and brands.
  • Own marketing measurables and represent marketing on the leadership team.
