HalterBoulder, CO

About The Position

Halter is seeking an exceptional marketing leader to significantly grow its presence in the US, aiming to make it one of Halter's largest global markets. This senior leader will be responsible for building brand recognition across all ranching communities in the region and driving revenue performance. The role requires a strategic thinker who can own the full-funnel marketing strategy, encompassing acquisition, expansion, and retention, to achieve revenue outcomes. The Head of Marketing will collaborate closely with go-to-market leadership to develop this strategy, build a high-performing team, and generate demand and pipeline for sustained growth. Support will be provided by the global marketing team at Halter's New Zealand HQ, offering established brand frameworks and strategic guidance. The ultimate responsibility lies with the Head of Marketing for acquiring, expanding, and retaining top ranches in the US market.

  • Customer-led approach, energized by time on ranch with customers and translating that understanding into commercial decisions.
  • Builder and world-class operator, capable of building and leading a high-performing team, with experience scaling marketing or growth functions in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable rolling up sleeves and playing an 'executor' role, while also empowering the team.
  • Genuinely commercial mindset, comfortable being measured on revenue numbers and demanding it from oneself and the team.
  • First-principles thinking, using global frameworks intelligently and making evidence-based cases for regional market needs.
  • Strong operator across both brand and demand, comfortable moving between tone-of-voice and CAC/ROI conversations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and owning outcomes to figure out the path forward.
  • AI-forward operating mode, utilizing AI for content drafting, personalization, and data analysis, treating headcount as a last resort.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
