About The Position

After 10+ successful years in the UK, PensionBee (LON: PBEE) is expanding to the US to challenge an industry built on complexity with something simple, transparent, and stress-free. We're on a mission to make retirement simple. PensionBee helps individuals consolidate old 401(k)s and IRAs into one transparent, easy-to-manage account. For employers, we take the headache out of small balance management with automatic rollover solutions that protect former employees' savings and keep retirement plans healthy. We're a challenger brand taking on one of the most outdated industries around. We move fast, we care deeply about our customers, and we don't do unnecessary complexity. We're an ambitious team solving a problem that touches people's financial futures, and we're just getting started in the US. If that sounds like your kind of place, read on. About the role We are looking for a highly technical, data-driven Head of US Growth Marketing & Analytics based in New York, NY to own our intent-based customer acquisition ecosystem, data architecture, website performance, and organic retention funnels. In this role, you are a true player-coach and hands-on practitioner who loves pulling levers inside ad accounts, engineering next-gen search visibility, and mapping complex conversion tracking. You will serve as the strategic and technical manager for our content and lifecycle marketing team, transforming raw data into high-converting search, web, and email pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with SEO and GEO, and running Google campaigns.

Requirements

  • A sophisticated understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), semantic search, LLM scannability, and how AI engines source and cite brand data.
  • Deep, hands-on experience running Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and major SEO suites (e.g., SEMrush).
  • Exceptional capability in diagnosing data leaks across the entire user journey—from initial search click down to automated email onboarding flows.
  • Proven track record setting up data attribution and campaigns that seamlessly cater to both consumer users (B2C) and enterprise/HR decision-makers (B2B).
  • Experience working as a player-coach, with a demonstrated ability to manage creative teams while remaining deeply technical yourself.
  • 7+ years of experience with SEO and GEO, and running Google campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Blueprint and execute our visibility strategy for traditional search engines and next-generation AI answer engines.
  • Manage schema markup, indexation, and Core Web Vitals to maximize organic discovery.
  • Optimize our digital footprint for citations inside AI platforms like ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Google Gemini, and AI Overviews.
  • Serve as the core architect for marketing data. Jump into Google Tag Manager and Google Ads to set up custom event tracking and deploy conversion tracking pixels.
  • Clean up attribution models and establish a robust core measurement framework.
  • Partner with the internal Data team to build and maintain automated performance dashboards (using tools like Omni and Contentsquare) for the broader marketing team.
  • Actively structure, manage, and scale our paid search campaigns. Manually handle asset allocation for Performance Max (PMax), keyword match types, negative bidding, and budget optimization.
  • Oversee App Campaigns and Paid Social channels to drive both B2C consumer sign-ups and B2B enterprise/HR leads.
  • Directly manage the growth marketing budget, keeping forecasts precise and on track.
  • Own the conversion performance of our website and landing pages. Run heatmaps, analyze user drop-off behavior, and deploy aggressive A/B testing frameworks.
  • Translate technical search keywords, CRO data, and email performance metrics into structured editorial briefs—giving the content team exact blueprints to write against across articles, landing pages, and email sequences.
  • Partner closely with Product, Data, and Operations teams to build scalable, full-funnel acquisition loops and product-led growth initiatives.
