About The Position

The Head of M&A, North America will lead regional acquisition activity across the United States and Canada, acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership and a key contributor to Kiwa’s growth strategy. This person will be highly active in-market, building external relationships and generating proprietary deal flow, while ensuring that Kiwa is consistently well-positioned on the most relevant opportunities.

Requirements

  • Senior M&A professional with experience at a comparable level within a TIC competitor or closely related sector.
  • Proven track record leading or materially driving completed acquisitions in the TIC industry.
  • Minimum of 7 years of senior M&A experience in the TIC industry or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage M&A activities and successfully supporting the integration of businesses.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Expertise in building strong customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Solid understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance, with experience handling legal matters.
  • Proven ability to plan strategically and execute against long-term business objectives.
  • Relevant experience balancing the interests of customers, shareholders, and employees.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Dynamic, problem-solving mindset with a practical, reliable, flexible, and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work in matrix-setup in international context.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally with a technical or engineering background
  • MBA or degree in Business Administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive origination, evaluation, and execution of acquisition opportunities across North America.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, advisors, industry participants, and other market intermediaries to develop proprietary deal flow.
  • Sit alongside senior leadership in all material transaction discussions and contribute to board- and executive-level decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the regional and Group leadership teams to shape and refine North American M&A strategy.
  • Assess strategic fit, commercial attractiveness, valuation, risks, and integration considerations for target businesses.
  • Lead transaction processes from first contact through closing, coordinating internal and external advisers as needed.
  • Support post-acquisition planning to help ensure smooth integration and value capture.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline focused on value-creating transactions aligned to Kiwa’s platform and bolt-on priorities.
