Head of Integrated Communications

LightfieldSan Francisco, CA
$210,000 - $260,000Hybrid

About The Position

Lightfield is an AI-native CRM that assembles itself from your email, calendar, and meetings. It captures every interaction and turns it into organized context: accounts, tasks, follow-ups, and insights, so nothing slips through the cracks. We’re rethinking CRM from first principles. Instead of forcing teams to maintain rigid systems, Lightfield learns from how companies actually work, adapting, automating, and surfacing the insight that drives growth. We’re building the CRM platform we always wished existed: fast, intelligent, and genuinely helpful. The market agrees. Over 5,000 companies have used Lightfield since we launched in November, making us the fastest-adopted product in our category. We raised a $47M Series A led by a16z, with Greylock, Lightspeed, Coatue, Maverick and Audacious participating, and our founders previously built Tome, a generative AI presentation product used by over 25 million people. Before Lightfield, our team worked on Llama, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Pinterest, Google, and Salesforce. Our best growth channel is people telling other people about Lightfield, and most of them arrived through a founder's post, a customer's recommendation, or a story that traveled. That's not an accident, but it isn't yet a machine. We're hiring a Head of Integrated Communications to build that machine, and to make Lightfield the default answer when someone asks how modern GTM should work — whether they're asking a reporter, asking Google, or asking AI. Almost nobody owns all three yet. You would. Press and content are one function here, not two. The same point of view has to hold up in a founder's essay, a journalist's story, a customer's case study, and an AI answer that cites us. You'll own it end to end: the narrative, the founders' voices in market, earned media, customer stories, search and answer-engine presence, and the creator relationships that carry all of it. The old comms playbook — press releases, managed quotes, quarterly media cycles — was built for a world where information moved slowly and institutions conferred trust. We're looking for someone who knows that and has a point of view on what replaces it. This is a builder's role with a wide surface area. You'll work directly with the founders and hire the team as the function grows. Reports to our Head of GTM.
