About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Head of Infant Classroom to lead the Infant program. The role oversees daily classroom operations, ensures a safe and stimulating environment for infants, and supports a team of teachers. The position calls for a strong background in early childhood education, infant care, and classroom management. The classroom leader implements age-appropriate curriculum, supports children's development, communicates with parents, and trains and mentors teaching staff.

Requirements

At least two years of experience working with infants in a licensed setting; daycare or preschool experience is specified.
Strong classroom management skills.
Knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
Ability to lead by example in implementing safety procedures and fostering a warm classroom environment.
Strong organizational skills to manage daily routines while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the infant classroom team, fostering a positive, collaborative atmosphere focused on child development and safety.
Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote social-emotional skills, motor development, and language acquisition.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and health regulations.
Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, address concerns, and build trusting relationships.
Oversee classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, nap schedules, and activity planning.
Train and mentor teaching staff on infant care, behavior management, classroom management, and early childhood education best practices.
