About The Position

PropertyPilot is building the property data, analysis, and deal flow platform that the traditional real estate brokerage model never delivered, initially focusing on investors who are actively seeking a better solution. This role is for the first Head of Growth to lead the go-to-market strategy from inception. The Head of Growth will be responsible for building and executing the go-to-market motion from the ground up, running disciplined growth experiments across various channels, and rigorously measuring key metrics like CAC and payback. The playbook developed will serve as the foundation for future market entries. This is a player-coach role, starting with hands-on experimentation and evolving to hiring and leading a team. The Head of Growth will report directly to the CEO, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and their success will be crucial for the company's funding narrative and growth trajectory.

Requirements

  • Experience running growth at a 0>1 or early-stage company with a proven track record of success without a pre-existing playbook.
  • Experience building scalable acquisition motions with demonstrable CAC, payback, and retention numbers.
  • Fluency across paid, organic, content, and lifecycle marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in at least one community or outbound channel.
  • Ability to think in experiments: ship, measure, adjust, repeat.
  • Experience as a creative acquisition operator, comfortable writing copy.
  • Daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Clay) to enhance speed and output.
  • Ability to analyze funnels and act on data using tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude without dedicated analyst support.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Experience selling to operators is helpful but not required.
  • Experience in real estate, proptech, fintech, marketplace, or vertical SaaS is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute the go-to-market motion from the ground up.
  • Run disciplined growth experiments across paid, organic, content, partnerships, and community.
  • Measure CAC, payback, and activation with rigor.
  • Develop the playbook for sourcing investors, instrumenting the funnel, and codifying what scales.
  • Own the growth engine, including paid, organic, content, community, partnerships, outbound, and referral channels.
  • Set targets, build dashboards, and defend the math for key metrics like CAC, payback, LTV, activation, retention, and viral coefficient.
  • Develop creative customer acquisition strategies, including direct mail, outbound communication, referral mechanics, and content marketing.
  • Partner with the CEO and Product on pricing, packaging, and monetization decisions, including free-to-paid conversion, paywall design, plan structure, and reward systems.
  • Co-design in-product growth elements such as the activation funnel, paywalls, referral surfaces, and onboarding.
  • Build a small, sharp growth team as the go-to-market motion proves successful.
  • Develop the company's Series A narrative based on a capital-efficient, repeatable, and defensible growth model.
