Head of Demand Generation

Accuris
$180,000 - $210,000Remote

About The Position

Accuris is seeking a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Head of Demand Generation to build a predictable, scalable pipeline engine across our Engineering Intelligence and Supply Chain Intelligence portfolios. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this leader will own the global demand generation strategy - from audience segmentation and campaign development through pipeline creation, acceleration, and measurement. You will bring together digital programs, account-based marketing, lifecycle marketing, events, content activation, and sales plays into coordinated buying experiences. This is a highly visible role for a leader who understands complex enterprise B2B markets. The right person can translate growth objectives into executable programs, develop a clear point of view about where to invest, and remain close enough to execution to improve campaigns in real time. Success will be measured by qualified pipeline and revenue contribution - not activity or lead volume alone.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including significant leadership responsibility for demand generation, growth marketing, integrated campaigns, or account-based marketing.
  • A demonstrated record of building qualified pipeline and contributing to revenue in an enterprise software, data, information services, or technology business.
  • Experience marketing complex solutions to large organizations with long sales cycles, multiple products, and multi-person buying committees.
  • Strong command of full-funnel demand generation, including acquisition, nurture, ABM, conversion, pipeline acceleration, and customer expansion.
  • Experience partnering closely with enterprise sales teams and Revenue Operations against shared pipeline objectives.
  • The ability to move comfortably between strategy, team leadership, performance analysis, and hands-on program development.
  • Fluency applying AI tools to accelerate campaign development, audience research, content activation, personalization, testing, and performance analysis - while maintaining strong standards for accuracy, brand integrity, data security, and human review.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt AI-enabled marketing tools, translate them into practical workflows, and coach teams to use them responsibly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and financial judgment, including experience managing budgets, forecasting contribution, and reallocating investment based on results.
  • Experience with modern CRM, marketing automation, attribution, intent, ABM, analytics, webinar, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Clear, persuasive communication skills and the ability to create alignment across functions and levels.
  • A customer-centered mindset and the intellectual curiosity to understand technical products, specialized markets, and engineering audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, compliance, product development, or technical information audiences.
  • Experience in aerospace and defense, electronics, automotive, energy, industrial manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with standards management, requirements management, engineering software, component intelligence, PLM, digital engineering, or supply chain risk.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Accuris's global demand generation strategy, aligned with annual revenue targets, priority markets, product launches, and customer expansion objectives.
  • Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline goals, including coverage, conversion, velocity, and program return.
  • Create differentiated demand motions for Accuris's Engineering Intelligence and Supply Chain Intelligence solutions.
  • Balance new-logo acquisition with cross-sell, upsell, product adoption, and customer expansion opportunities.
  • Build quarterly and annual plans that clearly connect investments, audiences, programs, pipeline targets, and expected business outcomes.
  • Establish a disciplined testing and optimization roadmap across messages, offers, audiences, channels, and conversion points.
  • Turn company and product priorities into integrated campaigns that span paid media, organic and AI search, email, webinars, events, content syndication, retargeting, nurture, and sales activation.
  • Work with Product Marketing to develop compelling buying journeys for technical users, functional leaders, and executive decision-makers.
  • Build campaigns around the business outcomes Accuris delivers, including engineering productivity, regulatory compliance, requirements traceability, supply chain resilience, risk reduction, and faster time to market.
  • Create repeatable campaign frameworks that can be adapted by product, industry, geography, account segment, and stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Partner with Field and Partner Marketing to connect global programs with regional, industry, publisher, and channel opportunities.
  • Design and scale account-based marketing programs for priority enterprise accounts and buying groups.
  • Partner with Sales to define target accounts, identify account-level opportunities, coordinate outreach, and establish shared success measures.
  • Use account, intent, engagement, and opportunity data to determine when and how Marketing and Sales should act.
  • Develop plays for whitespace discovery, stalled-pipeline acceleration, competitive displacement, renewal support, and expansion within the installed base.
  • Own the prospect lifecycle from first engagement through qualification, sales acceptance, pipeline progression, and re-engagement.
  • Improve conversion across web experiences, forms, content offers, demo requests, events, nurture programs, and sales handoffs.
  • Develop nurture strategies based on audience, product interest, account status, behavior, and buying stage.
  • Work with Marketing Operations and Revenue Operations to strengthen scoring, routing, attribution, funnel definitions, data quality, and service-level agreements.
  • Ensure the digital journey reflects the needs of complex buying committees rather than optimizing only for individual lead volume.
  • Own clear, executive-ready reporting that connects marketing strategy, investment, and performance to the outcomes the business cares about - including qualified pipeline, revenue, conversion, velocity, customer acquisition efficiency, and expansion.
  • Translate marketing data into a concise business narrative: what is working, what is not, why it matters, and what actions or investment decisions should follow.
  • Use data to evaluate channel effectiveness, campaign contribution, account engagement, conversion, velocity, cost of acquisition, and return on investment.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and translate the findings into clear decisions about budget, audience, channel, and program priorities.
  • Own the demand generation budget and make thoughtful investment tradeoffs based on business impact.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure the marketing technology stack, data, processes, and reporting support scale.
  • Select and manage agencies, media partners, and other external resources as appropriate.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing demand generation team, with the organizational scope evolving alongside the company's growth.
  • Create strong operating relationships across Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Revenue Operations, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships.
  • Bring clarity and focus to a complex portfolio, helping teams align around a manageable number of high-impact growth priorities.
  • Establish a culture of accountability, experimentation, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of revenue outcomes.
  • Communicate strategy, performance, risks, and recommendations clearly to executive stakeholders.
