As the Head of Credit Monitoring & Financial Wellness Platform within PNC's Retail Lending organization, you will be based in Chicago, IL. The Head of Credit Monitoring & Financial Wellness Platform is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and delivery of a comprehensive customer experience that enables customers to monitor their credit score on an ongoing basis while accessing tools for personal financial budgeting and identity protection. This role owns the end-to-end product lifecycle, including strategic planning, technology delivery, third-party partnerships, and product ownership within an agile development environment. The leader will oversee multiple scrum teams and collaborate across technology, data, risk, security, marketing, and customer experience to deliver a best-in-class financial wellness platform. Defines the strategy and executes on the business and financial results for a product portfolio through the leadership of team(s) managing new and existing products by creating a differentiated customer experience utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics. Defines the overall strategy to produce a differentiated customer experience related to product or experience development for applicable business segments and product groups. Sponsors potential product or experience development projects for feasibility and value. Presents initiatives and policy changes to gain executive management buy-in. Manages progress to ensure initiatives are completed on time, within budget and meet strategic goals and oversees the resolution of issues that arise. Participates in the marketplace to influence product and customer experience trends and leads teams to execute on new products or enhancements to existing products or experiences and recognizes, anticipates and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise. Presents ideas to governing committees for approval. Maintains network of counterparts and third parties within the industry. Serves as senior point of escalation and ensures successful outcomes from key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery and other internal service partners. Leads activities with external stakeholders and clients throughout the product lifecycle. Supports determination of risk appetite and limits as part of the first line of defense. Owns business response to audit and regulatory finding. Leads one or multiple product lines and manager(s). Manages, motivates and develops the performance of the product development management team and key contributors. Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the strategic roadmap for credit monitoring, financial wellness tools, and identity protection services.
  • Develop a compelling customer value proposition that integrates credit score monitoring, budgeting capabilities, and identity protection.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitive positioning, and product differentiation.
  • Drive adoption, engagement, and retention through continuous innovation and customer-focused product enhancements.
  • Serve as product owner across multiple agile product backlogs, epics, and user stories.
  • Lead cross-functional planning with engineering, UX, data, and platfor timely and high-quality product delivery across releases.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable technology solutions with architecture and engineering leaders to ensure platform scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ensure compliance Third-Party Partnerships & Vendor Oversight
  • Manage relationships with third-party providers supporting credit score data, identity monitoring, fraud alerts, and financial tools.
  • Lead vendor evaluation, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance management.
  • Ensure seamless integration of third-party capabilities into the customer experience.
  • Lead and develop a team of product managers and multiple agile scrum teams.
  • Establish strong product management practices, governance, and delivery frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and, customer satisfaction, and financial impact.
  • Use customer insights and data analytics to continuously optimize features and user experience.
  • Partner with marketing and digital teams to drive awareness and adoption.
