About The Position

Nash is seeking its first Head of Corporate Communications to shape how the company is understood by the press, industry analysts, customers, and the wider market. This role is crucial for defining and communicating the narrative around autonomic logistics, a new category Nash is pioneering. The Head of Corporate Communications will report to the Chief Growth Officer and work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of editorial judgment, business fluency, and composure, with a strong understanding of how communications can influence market perception and business outcomes. The role emphasizes an AI-native approach to communications, leveraging AI tools to enhance research, preparation, and execution while ensuring all external-facing content maintains a human voice and point of view.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in communications, with in-house leadership at a high-growth B2B technology company or senior agency experience with a desire to move in-house.
  • Proven track record of shipping impactful work, including stories chosen and killed, and their results.
  • Experience building or leading an analyst relations program for a complex enterprise platform.
  • Understanding of how analyst positioning shapes enterprise deals.
  • Established relationships and a track record of placing stories in business, technology, and trade press.
  • Experience preparing C-level executives as spokespeople and developing their external voice.
  • Active, regular use of LLMs like Claude for research, preparation, and work, beyond basic copy editing.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial judgment.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of business impact.
  • Ability to communicate strong opinions clearly and adapt them based on evidence.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with supply chain, retail, or commerce trade press.
  • Experience on the analyst side.
  • Category-creation experience at an infrastructure, fintech, devtools, logistics, or autonomy company.
  • A public writing presence.

Responsibilities

  • Own Nash's corporate narrative across press, analysts, customers, partners, candidates, and the internal team.
  • Build and run the media relations program, targeting business, technology, and trade press.
  • Develop and manage the analyst relations program from the ground up, ensuring key firms understand Nash and autonomic logistics.
  • Oversee executive communications, preparing the CEO and senior leaders as spokespeople.
  • Manage internal communications to ensure the team understands the company's direction and news.
  • Leverage customer wins for public announcements, co-presented talks, and case studies.
  • Lead issues and crisis management, developing playbooks and escalation paths.
  • Manage the strategy for speaking engagements, awards, and executive visibility.
  • Measure the impact of communications efforts on market perception, analyst positioning, share of voice, pipeline, and hiring.
  • Select, manage, and hold agencies accountable for adding leverage.
  • Build the communications function as Nash scales.
