About The Position

Sensorum is building an AI-powered sensor network to identify and de-escalate chronic disease exacerbations in the home before they lead to hospitalizations. They partner with healthcare organizations to proactively identify at-risk patients and intervene earlier, enabling patients to stay healthier at home while reducing avoidable utilization. As the company grows, they are seeking a Head of Clinical Operations to help build and scale the clinical infrastructure supporting their model. This role is an operational leader for Sensorum's clinical programs, focusing on clinical quality, workflow consistency, and scalable delivery. The position requires close collaboration with Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and physician leadership to develop high-quality and operationally efficient clinical systems. The ideal candidate will operate at the intersection of clinical care, technology, operations, and healthcare innovation.

Requirements

  • Clinical licensure as RN, NP, PA, or equivalent clinical professional
  • 7+ years of clinical and/or healthcare operations experience
  • Experience building or scaling clinical programs
  • Strong operational and process design instincts
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day clinical operations function and serve as the operational leader for Sensorum's clinical team.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and develop a high-performing clinical team.
  • Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with Operations leadership on clinical staffing strategy as the company scales.
  • Design and lead Sensorum's clinical onboarding and training program.
  • Develop ongoing education, coaching, and competency assessment programs.
  • Conduct QA reviews of clinical documentation, patient interactions, and escalations.
  • Establish performance standards and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure clinical consistency across the organization through standardized training and coaching.
  • Own the development and continuous refinement of Sensorum's clinical programs.
  • Translate emerging clinical evidence, customer needs, and operational learnings into improvements to our care model.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and identify opportunities to improve clinical effectiveness.
  • Partner with physician leadership to evolve our clinical offerings over time.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine clinical protocols, workflows, and escalation pathways.
  • Partner with physician leadership to ensure protocols reflect current clinical best practices.
  • Help operationalize clinical guidelines into scalable workflows.
  • Support the development of clinical decision support and AI-enabled workflow tools.
  • Serve as the primary clinical partner to Product and Engineering.
  • Translate clinical requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Help shape future workflow automation, clinical tooling, and AI-enabled operational capabilities.
  • Ensure technology enhances both clinical quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support enterprise customer implementations and clinical onboarding.
  • Participate in customer-facing clinical discussions and serve as a trusted clinical advisor.
  • Help customers understand Sensorum's clinical model and best practices.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure clinical programs are successfully adopted and continuously improved.
