Head of Client

Medialicious

About The Position

The Head of Client is the single point of accountability for a major client’s growth at Medialicious, owning the client relationship, commercial outcomes, and every brand within the account. The role directs coordinated specialist capacity across user acquisition, affiliates, SEO, media, and planning toward measurable, sustained growth. It is a high-trust, high-ownership position that leads through clarity, influence, and commercial instinct rather than team management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in client-facing performance marketing or account growth; agency-side experience is ideal.
  • Comfort serving as the senior voice in the room.
  • Direct ownership of commercial outcomes, including budget conversations, scope negotiation, and performance accountability.
  • Fluency in acquisition economics, including CPA, ROAS, and LTV, with the ability to engage channel specialists on the numbers and challenge where needed.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional specialists without direct headcount authority.
  • Decisiveness under competing demands and an instinct for sequencing work across complex, multi-brand accounts.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior client stakeholders and a track record of growing and protecting accounts over time.
  • Comfort operating with minimal oversight in a coordinated-capacity model rather than a dedicated team structure.

Nice To Haves

  • Agency-side experience in client-facing performance marketing or account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full client relationship across every brand in the account, lead review cadence, manage escalations, and serve as a trusted accountability partner for clients.
  • Own commercial outcomes including volume, CPA, ROAS, and contribution; set targets with senior leadership and identify performance trends early enough to direct a meaningful response.
  • Set and sequence priorities across a multi-brand account, ensuring brands are not deprioritized when specialist capacity is contested.
  • Direct cross-functional specialists through outcome-driven briefs, coordinating Channels and Planning without building a parallel team around the account.
  • Lead client conversations about budget, scope, and contract terms, and flag risks to spend or return before they become problems.
