About The Position

StoneX Group is seeking a Head of Sales Strategy and Client Intelligence to support enterprise initiatives and establish a consistent framework for client intelligence and sales execution. Reporting to the Global Head of Institutional Sales, this role will connect workstreams around client coverage, cross-selling, wallet expansion, prospecting, and sales productivity. This is a hands-on commercial analytics role. The successful candidate will independently analyze client, product, transaction, and revenue data using SQL, Power BI, company-approved AI tools such as Copilot or Claude, and related analytics tools. They will build and test analyses, models, and reporting that produce actionable commercial intelligence, while validating AI- and model-generated outputs and explaining their implications to Sales and senior leadership. The role owns commercial requirements and outcomes rather than underlying technology or data platforms. It works across Sales Leadership, Product, Data, and Technology to improve how StoneX understands clients, coordinates coverage, identifies opportunities, and grows relationships. Responsibilities include developing commercial measures and data models, representing Sales in the enterprise Single Client View, building client intelligence and prioritization approaches, translating analysis into practical sales tools, and partnering with Data and Technology to scale successful prototypes.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services, in sales strategy, sales analytics, client coverage, commercial strategy, or a related role.
  • Working understanding of capital markets, commodities, FX, brokerage, clearing, payments, or other complex financial-services businesses and their revenue models.
  • Hands-on SQL proficiency, including querying, joining, validating, and analyzing client, transaction, product, and revenue datasets.
  • Strong Power BI capability, including data modeling, business measures/DAX, data relationships, and analytical design, as well as dashboard development and visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to use enterprise-approved generative AI tools such as Copilot or Claude to accelerate analysis and develop actionable business insights.
  • Ability to critically validate AI-generated analysis, challenge assumptions, recognize data-quality and methodological limitations, and explain business implications.
  • Ability to independently develop client segmentation, wallet-share, product-penetration, cross-sell, pipeline, and sales-performance analyses.
  • Strong understanding of client data structures, hierarchy, entity resolution, and data quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy with data, technology, and operating-model change.
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to move between strategy, analytics, and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, including translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for front-office and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related discipline.

  • Experience developing enterprise client hierarchy, coverage, or relationship-management models.
